Our high-end organic matcha, with rich umami and complex aromas. Thanks to a long, multi-stage shading process, this blend is a vibrant green and full-bodied in flavor. It is characterized by particularly sweet and buttery notes and a multifaceted character. The mouthfeel is creamy and velvety, and the finish is long-lasting and very smooth. One of Japan’s finest organic matcha teas. It is grown in Kirishima, comes exclusively from the first harvest, and is hand-picked. The raw tea is gently ground on granite stone mills and immediately sealed in airtight packaging.

Shelf Life

The matcha is delivered in an airtight, heat-sealed package.

Matcha can be stored for up to two years without any problems. We’ve provided more information on this here.

Thanks to an additional rubber seal on the lid (especially sturdy on the storage bags), the tea stays fresh for a long time even after opening. Because it’s ground so finely, the powder is highly susceptible to external factors such as light, oxygen, and heat. The tea should therefore always be stored in a tightly sealed container in a place away from direct sunlight.
