Organic Matcha Itsutsu Mini Set

💡 Tip: Perfect for matcha lattes

Thanks to its intense aroma, this tea stands up better to milk (alternatives) than teas that have been shaded for longer.

Herkunft & mehr Details

Was Matcha eigentlich überhaupt genau ist, erfährst du hier.

Our organic Matcha Itsutsu comes from the top region of Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture. Together with Nishio and Uji, Kirishima is known for the best organic matcha tea in Japan. Due to its location in the south of the country, not only is the climate ideal for growing Tencha, but the soil also offers very good conditions. The mountainous region is an active volcanic landscape characterized by particularly mineral-rich and fertile soil. Thanks to these perfect conditions, the region has established itself as the second largest green tea producer in Japan.

The raw tea comes from the second harvest. After steaming and gentle drying, the Tencha is ground very finely. This gives the tea its fine, velvety texture and makes it easy to whisk.

Haltbarkeit
