This very delicate chasen makes it easy to whisk matcha tea until frothy. Thanks to its very low weight, the whisk sits comfortably in the hand when whisking and can be moved quickly from the wrist. With the very fine bristles, the powder can be stirred better than with any other tool. To do this, place 1-2 grams of matcha in a bowl and mix with a sip of water to form a homogeneous paste. Then add 70-100 ml of water and stir with quick w-shaped movements to form a frothy tea.

Inconspicuous & indispensable.

Behind every frothy matcha is a good broom. Tip: Rinse the bristles with water before use - makes the wood smoother & extends its life.

Satisfied

The product fulfills its purpose. However, the reality and photo do not agree: the middle bristles are not knotted. I find that a little dubious.

Hey Matthias, thanks for evaluating! To your note: It is quite normal and even wanted that the middle (which looks like a knot) will dissolve somewhat after the first use. The bristles are carved 100% from a piece of bamboo and are made smooth over hot steam and then bent, so a real knot would not be possible. As soon as the broom comes back into contact with water, this shape dissolves again. As a result, the bristles in the middle also become more freely and help to beat the Matcha even more creamier. The number of bristles refers not only to the outer ones, but also the interior. You can only help to foam the tea. Feel free to get in touch with us if there are any other questions :) Best regards, Laura

Good broom

Prepare a good broom to the Matcha tea. You can tell a difference in a direct comparison to the model with 80 bristles. This makes it easy to get a bit better to beat the tea.
