- Cultivar (tea variety): Yabukita (50%) + Saemidori (50%)
- 100% from first harvest (ichibancha)

⏰   Preparation: Infuse 3 teaspoons in 200 ml water for 2-2.5 minutes at 50-65°C.

A high-end organic Gyokuro.
There are only a few regions in Japan that are known for really good Gyokuro. Kagoshima in particular has made a name for itself for the best organic qualities. Thanks to the warm climate and mineral-rich soil, the green tea finds ideal conditions here to develop its unique characteristics. Gyokuro N°01 is therefore very full, round and sweet. The aromas of exotic fruits create a truly unique drinking experience.

Gyokuro - The finest green tea in the world.
Gyokuro is fully shaded for several days before harvesting, which increases its amino acid content and thus develops its incomparable character. The tea is extremely sweet, full-bodied and mild. Due to the elaborate, cost-intensive cultivation of Gyokuro, the tea is only served on special occasions, even in Japan.

The tea is only steamed briefly (15-20 seconds). This stops the fermentation process and preserves the beautiful, dark green of the Gyokuro. The darker and finer the tea needles, the higher quality and better the tea.

The tea will sealed airtight delivered.

Green tea can easily be stored up to two years stored for up to two years.
