Our set to get you started in the world of the best matcha teas. The matcha set includes our organic blend Itsutsu, an original Japanese chawan (matcha bowl) and accessories made of golden bamboo. Ideal for the traditional tea ceremony.

The tea

Our Itsutsu is extremely fruity and intense. Its dominant taste makes the tea ideal for mixed drinks such as smoothies and matcha lattes. But the tea is also convincing on its own. A fresh stimulant that scores with a very good price/performance ratio.

The bowl

A chawan made by hand in Japan. The bowl is made of Mino stoneware and coated with a special, food-safe glaze. The bowl has a rustic and authentic appearance thanks to the classic, handcrafted style. The gray, uneven surface perfectly complements the bright green of the tea.
The bowl comes from Gifu Prefecture. It has made a name for itself beyond the country's borders for handmade tea ceramics.

The bamboo accessories

The set is rounded off with accessories made of golden bamboo. This material is classic for the traditional tea ceremony and goes extremely well with the light-colored bowl. Thanks to the 100 very fine bristles of the chasen, the tea can be stirred and frothed quickly and easily. The broom was elaborately crafted by hand from a single piece of wood. The long and slightly curved spoon makes it easy to remove the matcha powder from the small tin and measure it out.

Thanks to an additional rubber coating on the lid (particularly stable upper on the storage bags), the tea stays fresh for a long time even after opening. Due to the extremely fine grinding, the powder is highly susceptible to external influences such as light, oxygen and heat. The tea should therefore always be stored tightly closed in a place away from direct sunlight.
