The tea

Our high-end organic matcha with full umami and complex aromas. The blend is bright green and full in flavor thanks to a long, multi-stage shading phase. It is characterized by particularly sweet and buttery notes and a multi-faceted character. The mouthfeel is creamy and creamy and the finish is long-lasting and very smooth. One of the best organic matcha teas in Japan. It is grown in Kirishima, comes exclusively from the first harvest and is picked by hand. The raw tea is gently ground on granite stone mills and immediately sealed airtight.

The bowl

This unique piece of craftsmanship comes from Gifu Prefecture. High-quality stoneware and unusual tea ceramics have been produced in the region for centuries. The bowl is characterized by a very elegant and timeless design. The bowl's large volume makes it ideal for preparing matcha. Each bowl is a unique piece made by hand.

The bamboo accessories

The organic matcha and chawan are supplied together with dark bamboo accessories. These match the brown tones of the bowl perfectly and are indispensable for the traditional preparation of matcha tea. The 100 filigree bristles of the whisk make it easy to whisk the tea into a froth. The long, narrow spoon is used to remove and dose the powder from the small tin. Both parts are made by hand in the Japanese style. The accessories are suitable for preparing koicha (thick) and usucha (thin) tea.

Thanks to an additional rubber coating on the lid (particularly stable upper on the storage bags), the tea stays fresh for a long time even after opening. Due to the extremely fine grinding, the powder is highly susceptible to external influences such as light, oxygen and heat. The tea should therefore always be stored tightly closed in a place away from direct sunlight.
