Production & Use

The bowl is made by one of the best ceramic manufacturers in Japan. The factory is located in Gifu Prefecture, which is known worldwide for its unique, handmade stoneware. The Matcha bowl is a unique piece made by hand from natural clay. Thanks to its tall shape, the chawan is ideal for preparing and enjoying matcha tea.

The matcha bowl is characterized by a very lively and exciting design. Deformations and wild color changes create a unique dynamic. This is further enhanced by small irregularities on the surface. The turquoise, green and brown tones go very well with the bright Matcha tea. Accessories made of dark bamboo complement the bowl perfectly. The Chawan is slightly narrower than other models, which is offset by the raised edges.

Care instructions
  • Please do not clean in the dishwasher
  • Only wipe the bamboo spoon with a dry cloth
  • Only clean the bamboo broom with water after use & it is best to place it on a broom holder. Do not store in the plastic tube!

a really beautiful matcha bowl

I have been looking for a bowl for a very long time and this one is really beautiful. The cup has its own dynamic, just as it says in the description. This makes the bowl really unique.
