Original Japanese chawan. Beautiful bowl with slight unevenness and fine shading. Unique appearance with delicate shades of gray and green and fine hairline cracks in the glaze. Handmade by a renowned manufactory in Gifu Prefecture. The region is known beyond the borders of Japan for its exceptional stoneware and unique craftsmanship.

Die Schale ist wunderbar ausgefallen. Sehr edele helle Schale, mit zarten braunen und grünlichen Anteilen. Schöne glatte Oberfläche.

Pastell mit Charme

Ich habe mir diese Schale zugelegt, weil die unregelmäßige Optik und die hellen Farben es mir angetan hatten. Perfekte Massenware wird langsam langweilig. Zwei Monate später ist das gute Stück immer noch ansehnlich und ich hoffe, dass das so bleibt.
Im Vergleich zu einer normalen Schüssel verhindert der Standfuß aus Kork, dass sie bei der Zubereitung von Matcha (für die ich sie verwende) oder generell verrutscht.
Ich würde diese Schale denen empfehlen, die nach ein wenig japanischem Flair in seinem Küchenschrank suchen :)
